Originally enlisting in 1994 with the Marines, I had intended on making it my career but fate had other plans. Returning to civilian life led me down many paths including volunteering with multiple disaster relief and emergency response organizations, marriage with a growing family, and along with my wife building a dog training business that allows us the opportunity to assist other Veterans with affordable ESAs & SDs. I had dabbled in fishing for years but I wasn’t until getting my first boat in 2019 that I realized how truly therapeutic fishing can be. Since then, I have made fishing a priority in my life and it’s my privilege to be part of the pro-staff teams for St. Croix Rods, Omnia Fishing, & Take a Vet Fishing, NFP.
